I figured that my first post should describe what Symbol Handheld is about. This is a place where we can discuss bar code scanners and wireless network management tools. Who knows, we might get off topic here and there and talk about other handheld technologies like portable computers and alternate uses for devices typically intended for handheld gaming.

In my posts, I plan to discuss things like cordless general purpose bar code scanners, VOIP-enabled wireless bar code scanners, rugged bar code scanners, and handheld digital imager scanners. Hmm, I guess those are all scanners. Maybe at some point, I'll have to change the name to Symbol Handheld Scanner or just Symbol Scanner.
